You have run across him or his counterpart. Remember in the old days at school he swiped your mugs, threw your cap over the fence, stuck his finger in your eye and whistled in your ear? He was always big and husky and how he would pick out the little fellows to have his fun with. He grew up too, even as you and I, and the only change noticeable was that he used more care in selecting his victims. Of course he got married, for did not this bring with it a meek, gentle little woman, always on hand to be nagged, abused, and yes, beaten, too, and with no danger to himself, for she keeps quiet and won't tell; don't want neighbors or relations to know she made a mistake. Our Bully was no different, cast from the same mold and cut after the same pattern. Big, burly, blustering. He owned the town, or thought he did.
