Blake investigates a lumber mill where a series of deadly accidents have caused the owner to fear a saboteur was at work. His work is complicated by the attention he is receiving from the mill owner's beautiful daughter which is resented by nearly all of the unmarried men working in the yard. Blake finally gets a break when his cover is blown and one of the workers tries to kill him.
