The ORN Empire is back once again in this sequel to Thunder Force III. This time, they have joined forces with Vios, an army made up of allies affiliated with the ORN Empire. When the Galaxy Federation locates Vios' headquarters, they are promptly defeated due to Vios' power. Now, the Galaxy Federation deploys the FIRE LEO-04 Rynex to fight through ten stages in order to defeat both the ORN Empire and Vios.
