All of the scenes in Truman's house, were actually shot in the lead actor's real house. This film was written in about a month, and expanded over the course of filming. Originally it was meant to be a 15 minute short at it's maximum length. Filmed using only a total over-time budget of $500. Most props were previously owned by the actors. All of the actors picked out their own costumes for the movie.
