As this episode opens Rhade and Beka are in a bar when suddenly people start acting strangely; as though they are utterly terrified. When things settle down it emerges that somebody stole a valuable painting from the bar owner; he offers a sizable reward so Dylan, Rhade and Beka start searching for it. Clues lead them to Seefra-7. Here they find Harper, he has been there three years and isn't particularly pleased to see them. He has been working with Marika, a woman who is ignoring local anti-technology laws in an attempt to genetically recreate the ancient Vedrans. Dylan and the others also learn what happened to Rommie in the Magog attack and of Harper's so far unsuccessful attempts to bring her back.

Three episodes into this season the main characters are finally reunited. I liked how this was spread over a few episodes; this kept me wondering if the entire cast would be returning but not for too long. The story was fun enough; it provides some decent action and raises interesting questions. There is also one rather disturbing scene as Marika effectively tortures a sentient android Harper has created. Gordon Michael Woolvett makes a welcome return as Harper, a character who seems to have changed slightly, as one would expect after three years, but not too changed. Guest star Kendall Cross is suitably unpleasant as Marika. The scenes involving Rommie are good and suggest it may be some time before she is back to being her old self. Overall a solid enough episode.
