Princess Twilight states that she has enough material to give Starlight three years of friendship lessons. Twilight had three years, or seasons, of friendship lessons before she became Princess.
Rarity never said a single word in this episode, ergo making it the only season premiere up to date where one of the main characters doesn't have a single line of dialogue. It's also the only Season 7 episode where Rarity appears but doesn't speak.
This is the first season premiere to not be a two-parter.
The first time in the series where one of the expressions or phrases that use the name "Celestia" was said in front of Princess Celestia. Which Princess Celestia ironically said she was unaware she was an expression in response. She supposedly never heard any of those kind of things said despite having ruled Equestria for over 1000 years.
