The Best Sex Ever Boy Toy (2002–2003) Online

Have to at least give Cinemax credit for several things in producing this episode of The Best Sex Ever. First, the lighting, photography, & editing serve to maximize the erotic effect of the sex scenes, which is fortunate, since those scenes don't have a lot of time to build up the erotic heat. Secondly having Monique Alexander as Sandrine, and Alexa Rae as Chelsea is a case of inspired casting. Monique, who later became one of the "contract girls" for hardcore porn company Vivid, perfectly plays the naive young (and petite & Pretty) innocent, who is lured into a world of lust. And the gorgeous, shapely, Alexa Rae is also well cast, as the worldly, more comfortably sexual, of the 2 female roommates. Fellow reviewer Scarecrow-88, is certainly correct, that the highlight of the show, its girl on girl on guy scene, is too brief. But I think we notice the shortness so much because we have been enjoying the most beautifully shot girl/girl/guy scene, with the best looking pair of women, that I've certainly ever run into on late night cable. I'll tell you, that scene is such a case of beautifully photographed, realistically acted eroticism, that if it seems too short, you may just find yourself playing it back in slow motion. By the way, hesitated to say realistically acted because I'm not so sure that the 2 ladies were faking their attraction to each other. BTW, my rating of 10 is for quality, not quantity.

A young lovely named Sandrine (Monique Alexander) works in an office, is rather mousy and timid in nature, and harbors a desire to break from her shell of sexual repression. Sandrine's roommate, Chelsea (Alexa Rae), couldn't be more opposite. Chelsea is sexually free and active, in an open relationship with hunky Ben (Massimo Avidano), and knows that Sandrine lusts for her on-again/off-again squeeze. While Chelsea is out of the picture, Sandrine and Ben hit it off—there's an attraction that is palpable—and eventually succumb to the desire they feel for each other. Afraid Chelsea will be upset, Sandrine is a little guilty and anxious about how their friendship will be going forward. However, Chelsea's reaction to all of this might just surprise Sandrine.

This is how I think Alexander should have been cast more often during the period of softcore around 2003, because she just has that look of luscious sex kitten wrapped in the package of virginal, girl-next-door. I love her use in this episode; when we first see her, she's spotted Rae and Avidano going at it near their pool, totally aroused by them. Then Rae looks over at her, acknowledging that Chelsea knew Sandrine was watching her the whole time. This sets up the erotic (if just a bit too short) conclusion where Sandrine is "accepted" into the relationship with Chelsea and Ben, as the threesome commences. The burden of softcore on Cinemax and hardcore released on video is time. In an episode of Best Sex Ever, with the beauties of Rae and Alexander, a Sapphic erotic sequence constrained to two-to-five minutes just seems like a drag. Often, these kinds of sex scenes leave us (or myself, if not you) wanting so much more. It is kind of an appetizer without the full meal. Avidano will be an eyeful for some with his physique, but, as you might expect, he's a prop for the two babes his character is fortunate enough to have sexual relations with. In hardcore, a lesbian scene between Alexander and Rae might just overstay its welcome. There's something about a well-handled, inspired lesbian seduction and follow-through that is satisfying. What we get in this episode is a taste of delicious without enough sustenance to leave us feeling such satisfaction.

Rae is rapturous in her limited time on screen (I thought her nude body looked fabulous; very fit, athletic-looking) but this was Alexander's chance to rarely shine in a significant softcore role; unfortunately, it was for a thirty-minute episode only. Throughout her softcore work, Alexander has been used as a delicious spare tire. Let's bring in Alexander to have a nice little five minutes of work (sometimes just as a female conquest for some stud, absent any dialogue at all) so we can see her naked, with some guy getting lucky. Here, she's been considerably shy but interested in what Rae does often: letting her hair down and following what her passions yearn for, eventually Sandrine satiates her lust. The finale leaves us with the understanding that lots of sex between these three will result from the roommates consummating latent urges.
