What works for the REAL Hell's Kitchen is that they are REAL chefs, with a REAL prize - and massive career exposure in the appropriate industry.

Then you have this. NOT chefs, NOT able to keep their own prize (it goes to charity), and ultimately just a self-promotion tool...... of people we know little about, and care even less.

The fact that food is prepared in advance by sous chefs takes something laughably poor and makes it truly offensive. 700k people watched the first episode. I expect that to drop by 90% by week 3, unless they re-market it as a comedy, in which case the numbers might only drop by 80%.

Marco, how can slump to this level? This fits in with all the 'celebrity' show genre. Pathetic. This is not cooking. It's heating prepared food and dropping it onto a plate. The program format does not lend itself to the viewers interest. I hope this is never to be repeated....ever.

After about 20mins I found myself scanning other channels. The pace is too slow for a cooking show, if you can call it that! To learn that the food had already been prepped. Not much of a cooking show.. They spent to much time creating the fake drama and Marco's pregnant pauses were getting too much...

Australia seems to be a leader in spoiling anything good, by "overdoing" it. Plus; No original ideas. No creativity. No sense of limits. No integrity. And why do I need to write a 5 lines review? Is it impossible to send a message in short? Not enough brain to comprehend? Or does Google need much senseless talk to classify it as "quality". Makes this whole "review' thing senseless. But anyway, here you have your 5 lines.

I love HELLS KITCHEN with Gordon so this show was a huge disappointment. Marco, the chef in charge is the most annoying, arrogant, and to be honest, filthy chef I have ever seen! He squeezes butter through his fingers and plates sloppy food up with his hands which is disgusting not to mention the way he treats customers.

So we have a bunch of no known celebrities including a pathetic worm from The Chase Australia who whines and carries on like a moron. There is no cooking involved, just heating up pre cooked food and these people still have trouble! There is an old bag who thinks she knows everything about cooking and yet gets everything wrong.

The show is a disgrace and it's a shame Ramsey couldn't have stopped this from going on air as it's just terrible!

I can't get the few hours back that I wasted watching this garbage.

Even if you can stomach the inclusion of One Nation co-founder David Oldfield, this show is a complete joke, and Marco should be ashamed. These people people have no business anywhere near a kitchen, and indeed there's little to witness beyond them heating up food that's already been prepared for them and watching them incompetently slapping it onto plates. I mean, come on. I realize these people are "celebrities," with no aspirations to become chefs, but compare this abomination to Celebrity MasterChef UK, and see the difference between craven parody and an assembly of people who love food and are really trying to learn something and to win. Marco should have stuck with MasterChef Australia, the best of all the cooking competition shows, and not stooped to this humiliation.
