On January 8, 2005, two friends, Don Shirley and David Shaw, top divers and masters of their craft, dive in a cave in the Kalahari Desert: Boesmansgat, the Bushman's Gate. 283 meters below surface level, at the bottom of the cave, lies the body of young Deon Dreyer: the friends' goal is to recover it.
