The Rajah-Sahib restaurant, seen in location footage, was a noted celebrity haunt in Melbourne at the time of taping the scenes with Jim and Jacki in 1980. It was permanently closed in February 2003 after Melbourne City Council health officers inspected curry king Larry Mendonca's premises the previous year and discovered mouldy and rotten food and drink ingredients, and unhygienic preparation areas.
