This film shows the anonymous epic of a group of Cubans who were sent to Siberia to cut trees as a part of an internationalist mission at the end of the 80's. Caught in an inhospitable landscape and below freezing temperatures, the majority of them push themselves to the extreme as the only way to enhance their lives in someway. The director captures the evidence of the cruelty of this mission, without knowing this was the only testimony ever filmed of the adventure shaped between the Kremlin and La Havana.
