In this episode St. John--or rather, the actor, a young Andrew Bicknell--reads from the Bible, from the book of "Revelations." This is an example of what's become known as "The Mandela Effect," where a culture develops a widespread, but false memory of something. Though most people would swear Bicknell referenced the name of the book accurately, it is actually titled "Revelation." In her novel, of course, Brontë has St. John use the correct title. Interestingly, however, the titular mistake appears to have been common in the early Nineteenth Century, as well. Towards the beginning of the novel, Brontë has ten-year-old Jane Eyre say one of the books in the Bible that she enjoys reading is "Revelations."
