Miss Milton announces to Roger that she has a huge decision to make, one that will affect her and all at Paradise Lodge. Flora and Cissie are walking down the High Street and see Paradise Lodge is up for sale, Miss Milton is heading down under with an Australian sheep farmer called Barry Snatch that she's been writing to. The ladies set out to do all they can to put off potential buyers.

Some really funny moments, I loved the scene of Cissie and Flora talking to the estate agent. 'Concentrate Cissie, your country needs you.' The ladies putting off potential buyers too, very funny. Pat Coombs is wonderfully madcap as always. Possibly not the most believable Australian.

An episode really of its time. In short the days before the internet, smartphones, Rightmove and Tinder.

Miss Milton has fallen for a sheep farmer in Australia. They only know each other through letters they have written to each other. She has decided to sell up and emigrate.

In order to do so she needs to sell Paradise Lodge and gone through an estate agent who has put up the sale details on the window that Flora and Cissie happen to notice.

Once the ladies realise that their beloved home could have a new owner they set a plan in action to put off any prospective buyers before you can say dry rot.

Flora also tries to put off Miss Milton marrying someone that she knows little about. Miss Milton later finds out just how little it was!

A fun but really only a slightly amusing episode as you can guess what Flora would be up to put the buyers off. I was surprised that in 1981 the estate agent thought that a residence costing over 200k would have a cash buyer just nonchalantly walking past.
