This movie looks a little bit "uncomplicated" at first sight, but it is not that easy. It criticizes the degeneration of the modern world with a strong language. Criticizers of the criticizers of the modern world will think, that it is one of the other middle-age movies. But this movie tries to emphasize something: The ideas of Platon appear when we fall in love (platonic love). Falling in love requires a perfect object and its consequence is moving to the spiritual perfection. This is why in the original story Majnun doesn't recognize Laila. She says to him: "I am your Laila. Why don't you recognize me?" And he answers: "If you are Laila in deed, who is the one in my heart? If the one in my heart is Laila, who are you?" This is a platonic thought about love and has to be esteemed highly, which the movie tries to represent. On the other side we see the modern life and its people's degeneration..

One of the many problems of the modern world is, that it isn't in love with the other side anymore. On the other hand it cannot get separated either, because it is impossible. So the crisis begins. Metaphysics are tried to get avoided. Religion, virtue, love are being carried into the emptiness of relativity and scepticism. This movie emphasizes these points by reflecting the contrast between the old times and the modern times. Our Majnun symbolizes the old times, purity and love. Laila symbolizes the modern world, rationality, degeneration and impurity.

My final words: It is worth to see.

it is hard to understand film makers producers mind and rationality... this film is totally wrack.. i am very shamed to say: "a film" for this flowing images.. i do not know how to start to say where i did't like in the film.. there is really nothing to tell you about life but i think they tried to tell us "this is the real life story or something else" there is a child and a man in the coffeehouse (hard to understand why child is in there) and unbelievably coincidence that child is son of the woman and our man (sitting nearby the child) loves the same woman. but this child is not his son.. they were searching that woman.they met coincidentally in the coffeehouse. when i saw "5 Vakit" named Turkish film i thought that this film is the worst that i have ever watch but "Anne Yada Leyla" changed my mind: this is the worst film i have ever watched... if you want to spent your time you should watch.. what can i say anymore? My final words: It is waste of time to see
