Cheating Housewives 7 (2010) Online

I received this DVD as a freebie with one of my volume purchases and what screamed gonzo from its title turned out to be a well-made, pleasant XXX storyline video. Vet Jim Powers treats his audience with perhaps unearned respect, given that gonzo is king nowadays.

Five arousing vignettes concern a complete cast of characters who interact, rather than the usual disconnected loops approach. Central figure is a schemer (perhaps a by-product of TV shows' success with such ploys) played by Raquel DeVine, a not very attractive MILF but well- cast. With fine dialog set-up scenes, planted way before the payoff sex occurs in this video, she keeps trying to convince her friend Kayla Paige to do some husband swapping -quite a novel premise to be buried in a generic Volume 7 of a little-known video porn series.

Before that comes to pass in the well-directed final two sex vignettes of the show, we are first treated to well-preserved porn vet Dyanna Lauren, quite suggestive with her nipples sticking out through a red sweater as she gets picked up off the street by Evan Stone. Their sex scene is unusual, starting with her masturbating and building to a facial, and gives the video a smashing opener.

Second vignette is even more offbeat, as it introduces a completely different current genre, the interracial cuckold/masochist theme. Kyle Stone wants to watch his wife, built like a brick sh*thouse Mellanie Monroe, make love to another man. She brings black stud Mark Anthony poolside and he treats her to anal sex, while hubby watches. It's a hot scene, far more tastefully staged than the usual insulting genre depictions of a cringing, miserable masochist.

The Brits invade in the form of lesbian superstar Tanya Tate and a new, improved? McKenzie Lee, who had made a big impression five or so years earlier, and now reappears with huge, surgically enhanced breasts. Their lesbian tryst by a pool gets expanded to a threesome with Michael Vegas, professionally deep throated by Tanya in a well-crafted scene.

Storyline is artfully resolved, first by Kayla getting a house key from pal Raquel and going up to Raquel's bedroom where Randy Spears lies waiting. Kayla might be the sexiest actress in the picture and this was a terrific scene.

It is inter-cut with an unusual staging of Raquel sneaking into the bedroom of her counterpart's husband, Jack Lawrence, and giving him a blow job under the covers while he's asleep. He's horrified when he awakes, but all ends well. Lawrence remains a mystery to me -check his IMDb credits and we see the strange case of a successful and prolific porn stud who traded in his XXX career for a non-stop series of extra roles playing cops in non-sex, low-budget movies.
