This film marks the first time you hear Linkara say the "f-word", as Lewis Lovhaug usually refrains from using R-rated language in his reviews.

90s Kid reveals his real name to be Evelyn.

Early on it was rumored that Rob Walker would appear in the movie as his trademark character Santa Christ.

One of the Caelestis astronauts was originally going to be played by comic book writer Nicholas "Marcus" Almand. Marcus worked with two of the other astronauts (played by Fes Works and Melissa Kaercher) on a different comic book review webseries called "First Issue"; essentially creating a full reference to the show through casting. Marcus unfortunately had passed away from cancer before production.

Noel Thingvall (Lt. Anders) was not originally cast as the third Caelestis crew member. Without making a too direct of a correlation, it is noted behind the scenes that Lt. Logan (played by Fes Works) is, instead, the newest member of the crew; assigned to replace a previous crew member that was originally supposed to go on the mission. This was meant as a subtle, albeit internal, reference to the late Nicholas "Marcus" Almand being originally cast as one of the three astronauts.

NolanTrashZone of the Pizza Party Podcast has claimed this is his favorite movie.
