Demosthenes Lambroukos is a lawyer of an aristocratic family and considers deceptive to assume hypotheses that are not related to high society. When one summer decides to take a break in Hydra, she falls in love with the daughter of an old Crown whose inheritance she had refused to take because she did not know her title. Demosthenes considers her petty, but impressed by her beauty. One day he arrives in Hydra, Konte Rosa, her father, to marry her with another lawyer. Their marriage will be white to fulfill the term of a covenant by which she becomes the sole heir. This, of course, does not know Lambroukos and becomes a beast .
