Stefan teaches the primary school kids about the forest by organizing a treasure hunt. His own kids are back from abroad, Daniel sad to leave his summer lover behind and anxious the baby may be another girl. Wolfgang is ecstatic about the first visit in 20 years from Stefan's godfather, uncle Ludwig, Dr. Mehringer, but can't deal with him suffering from advanced Alzheimer. Pregnant Sonja keeps working with the flu despite fainting, until Ludwig sends her to hospital, where Dr. Lechner diagnoses serious Q-fever, highly contagious but only from sheep. Stefan tirelessly searches for the culprit flock, and finds it at a scary place.
