In trying to force Edna and Seymour out of the school, the Springfield police attempts to flood the area with music. This is similar to a tactic that the US troops used during Operation Just Cause in an attempt to force Manuel Noriega out of the Vatican embassy in Panama City.

When Agnes Skinner peers over the fence at Skinner and Krabapple, she's in a classic "Kilroy Was Here" pose.

Guests at Martin's party: Sherri & Terry, Edna, Ralph, Richard, Lisa, Bart, Wendell, Milhouse, Janey, Lewis, Nelson, Seymour, and Mrs. Skinner.

Couch gag: The Simpsons are clear blue bubbles that float to the couch and pop one by one.

One of multiple sieges in Springfield Elementary. Other sieges include "Bart Stops to Smell the Roosevelts" and "Skinner's Sense of Snow." "Skinner's Sense of Snow" started as a weather emergency and had no specific agenda. The other two were successful in their agendas, both of which involved someone losing a job unfairly, then getting it back.

The start of the first long-term relationship Edna has on screen. The second was with Ned Flanders, and ended with her death.

Grade School Confidential is a great Simpsons episode with a very well written storyline and loads of very funny scenes. This episode is the first to revolve around the relationship of Principal Skinner and Edna Krabappel,I always enjoy these episodes but this one is certainly one of the best. There are several hilarious lines from both Skinner and Krabappel, but it was mostly following Bart in this strange situation that I found the funniest. Not the finest but it is another great episode from the eight season,Grade School Confidential is a very enjoyable Simpsons episode.

The entire town of Springfield goes against Principal Skinner and Edna Krabappel after several student witness them having relations on school grounds.
