Evidence abounds in Bellacourt Manor, both upstairs and downstairs, that it is haunted by a ghost or ghosts. Despite Lillian and Frederick both certain they know who is ghost is, Lillian decides to call in who she considers the foremost expert to conduct a séance to deal with the ghost(s) once and for all, that expert being magician Harry Houdini. With Houdini in the manor, Albert has his own agenda during the esteemed magician's presence. Meanwhile, the downstairs staff have their own take on what's happening, with Peepers delving into his heritage to deal with the ghost. As the faithful servant, Garfield does whatever he can to help Peepers, just as long as whatever measure does not harm his imaginary best friend Sticky Johnny, who is more real than Garfield can imagine but in a different way than he envisions.
