Was the first "official movie" to be shot and edited on High Definition at Columbia College Chicago (not counting cinematography class tests).

The love scene where Jack and Angela are "superimposed" over the city of Chicago was not a digital effect, and was done on set. The scene was initially to take place in front of the skyline at night, but when the lighting crew was working to block equipment reflections in the window, Chait saw the actors blue reflections over the city and immediately worked it into the scene.

The gunfight beneath the city on Lower Wacker Drive was originally much longer, but time constraints and a lengthy setup for the choreographed intersection fight scene forced the crew to cut filming short. The pyrotechnics (bullet and gun effects) already wired on a block long section of pillars, which took an entire morning to set up, had to be removed without part of the scene being shot.

The dinner scene, filmed at Kizoku Sushi, had to be lit, shot and wrapped in just 3 hours while the restaurant was closed between lunch and dinner.

The opening train station sequence was shot at the METRA "Millennium" Station underneath North Michigan Ave. and Randolph St. Because of time constraints, and having to beat the early morning crowds, filming on the train platform took just five minutes, with a single take for each shot.

Filming on the already cramped North Michigan Ave. Bridge was further complicated by large buses that would shake the entire bridge and drowned out actors voices at least once a minute.
