Near the beginning of the episode, the original Red Tornado's bucket helmet can be seen on the shelf with other items. The original Red Tornado was Ma Hunkle, a golden age superhero with the Justice Society, and a popular comedic hero with DC.

Jane Carr (Fairy Godmother) also voiced a fairy, on the Nickelodeon show, The Fairly OddParents (2001), as Cosmos mother Mama Cosma.

Laura Regan (Jane) and Nick Zano (Nate) played brother and sister, on the Fox television show, Minority Report (2015), although the two don't share any scenes together, in this episode, Fellow Arrowverse actor Neal McDonough (Damien Darhk) starred in the 2002 film, Minority Report.

Jane Carr as the Fairy Godmother is an obvious reference to the Disney film, Cinderella (1950). Jane Carr coincidentally was born the same year the film came out.

Laura Regan (Jane Hathorn) Previously guest stared on Constantine (2014) as a different character.

Historically, Fairy Godmother is a character in fairy tales, primarily associated with Cinderella, a fairy with magical powers who acts as a mentor or parent to someone is actually a godparent in many societies. In Perrault's Cinderella, he concludes the tale with the cynical moral that no personal advantages will suffice without proper connections. In the comics, the Godmother has made appearances based on her classic fairy tale appearance.

This Fairy Godmother was also Cinderalla's Fairy Godmother as she states she gave one girl 'Glass Slippers'.

Legends once again have to clean up their own mess while dealing with the changes to their team. The story behind Legends is not just time travel but about finding where you belong. This episode is the perfect example of that. Zara becomes the heart of this episode with her insight on racism and religious persecution. While Mick and costanine take over the humor aspect. The moment when nate tells ray he's staying with the time bureau you can see the look on Ray's that he doesn't think nates coming back. Unlike the rest of the dc shows who have the same 8 original characters from season 1 plus the new cast legends isn't afraid of change which makes it a terrific show.

Why does everyone say this episode is bad? This episode is so funny, and has really good vfx. You will not be disappointed.

Nate had not used his powers for all of last season, I had started to think he had lost his powers as there were literally a dozen situations where turing into metal would have saved the day...Even in this episode he acted like he had forgotten that he could transform. why? how? Anywayss..despite that. it was a good episode...Last season was awful...this season got good again

This was a great episode with the humor and premise of this season really interesting me, but Zari ruins this episode for me because while I understand her motivations of helping other to avoid her kind of loss, but she constantly forces her opinions on others, and yes she rights what she did wrong in the end but she interferes with time constantly like last season with Helen of Troy being removed from the time stream, and while I still like her character I think she is the worst written character on the show. This was more for me to get this off my chest, please just take everything I say with a grain of salt
