Zagreb has a cannon on a hill that every day mark noon. The first time such a method of marking the noon held on January 1, 1877 on the initiative of City Councilor Duro Dezelic. Originally the gun was located in the building and Hydrological Institute, now located in the tower Lotrscak on the hill. Top is still for the entire time of the First World War to 1928, the top fifth, and was obtained from the JNA to 1987 Universiade.
