Director Christopher Malinowski insists on shooting, exclusively, on film. He was offered free digital video services for production and turned these offers away.
Was shot on 16mm Fuji color film over the course of 9 days in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
On the first day of shooting, which involved a live hen and sweltering temperatures, the camera rental house which provided the equipment for "'Alms,' You Say" threatened to re-claim their gear if the production did not sign for an additional $500,000.00 insurance policy in addition to the initial policy agreed upon by both parties, production and rental house. Begrudgedly, the producers agreed to an amended policy and production continued without hassle.
