I've just read that the series is due to be transmitted on mainstream BBC1 in a week's time, that's such good news, as its a series that should be enjoyed by more then just the Welsh audience.

The third episode has to be the best episode to date, with so much going on, the plot has grown, and developed into intriguing strands, the characters have grown in stature, and Myles got a chance to shine in her characters fantastic scenes with the Vicar and his wife.

The music has been fantastic throughout.

On this showing the remainder of the series will be a treat.

It's a brilliant drama, can't take my eyes off the tv when it's on.

This is nearly very good television. Good plot, good acting - great location. My only major issue is the number of ridiculously long shots of our lead character - usually accompanied by a ballad. I would guess 10% of this episode was taken up with shots of Faith gazing wistfully into the middle distance. Yes, I know she's desperately trying to fathom out what's happening, but it's repeated and repeated and unnecessary.

It might be a missing persons case but DI Williams suspects Faith having some nefarious involvement. The fact that her missing husband had a DNA test done adds fuel to the fire. If one of his children really was his?

DI Williams takes his papers and computer from his workplace while Evan's dad was in the office making his own investigations.

Faith having talked with Evan's psychiatrist has a showdown with his mother who tells Faith that the DNA test was to find out who Evan's father was as she had an affair.

Faith and DI Williams have a showdown later on when Faith is acting for the local parish priest accused of pilfering church funds. Faith accuses DI Williams of inventing evidence and it is not for the first time.

The episode splinters the story further. What has caused Evan to have a breakdown, leaving his family in such a state. Is he really missing or is this a set up? You get flashbacks to a murder case that Evan was involved in. Something that gave him a taste for criminal law.
