Seven snowboarders trek deep into the Cascade Mountains and become desperately lost as they are hunted by a school shooter.

The shooting took 16 days in December 2015 and January 2016.
The actor for The Killer dropped out the day before filming started. Max Malik, who was on board as the Script Supervisor, was chosen to take up the role. He continued to be Script Supervisor throughout shooting.
Stewie Valencia didn't know how to snowboard, so for the back flip scene AJ Harpring and Stewie switched places. Stewie can be seen wearing AJ's clothes in the back flip shot.
Many scenes were shot in one take due to the complicated nature of the film. These include the back flip, Jake falling off the log, Rob crawling on the cliffside, Rob finding the road, and AJ rappelling down the cliff.
Many locations were a 45 minute drive and another 30 minute snowmobile ride from housing. Since shooting took place in the winter, each day transportation to and from location was in the dark.
Two snowmobiles were planned to be used to transport cast and crew, but just before shooting one broke down. This meant in order to get everyone to location, Jessie Pieters (transportation captain) had to take multiple trips back and forth each morning in the dark.
All the audio is ADR and foley work.
One day it snowed so much that shooting had to be canceled. Instead, the cast and crew took a day off to go see the new Star Wars film.
Only Jake Love, Kyle Love, and AJ Harpring knew how to Snowboard. Rob was a skier. This caused a montage of snowboard tricks to be cut from the film.
Every shot on top of the cliff that Dani Hobbs is not in, she was not present for shooting.
