Maybe a shade of the Charles Lindbergh baby kidnapping story here.

Frankie and Trudy become embroiled in an attempted kidnapping of the infant son of an aviator.

Frankie is hired to look into the matter but the baby's father is not happy for the private investigation team snooping around but they persevere looking for probable suspects who might want to kidnap the child. They come across an organisation who believe in Eugenics.

Another frothy mystery with serious undertones which were gaining popularity at that time period. Now retired constable Crabtree crosses over from the Murdoch Mysteries for a cameo. British actor Laurence Fox also makes an appearance as an old friend of the aviator who is also investigating the attempted abduction.
