This film can be found on youtube under a French title Robinet cyclcliste. It shows Robinet in training for the Tour of Italy cycle race and is the first instalment of two films devoted to the "Corsa Rosa" as the Giro d'Italia was called. In 1912 it was the fourth time the race had been run between several Italian cities but beginning in Milan and ending in Bergamo and it took place in several pas between 19 May and 4 June. For the only time in its history it was organised by teams rather than individuals and won by the Atala team composed of Carlo Galetti, Giovanni Micheletto, Eberardo Pavesi and Luigi Ganna, who became known with a certain inevitability as "the four musketeers". History does not record how Robinet fared.....
