The F.B.I. Quantico (1965–1974) Online

When the show begins, a group is getting a guided tour of some federal building. A blind man (Rhys Williams) hears some ticking and when the guard hears him say this, he investigates and finds a bomb!! He quickly ushers everyone out and takes the bomb to a safe place...where it explodes and severely injures the poor guy.

Later, when Erskine is investigating the case, he meets with the blind guy and uses him to get some leads. One lead takes them to a very promising FBI academy candidate. No, he's not the bomber...but the bomber happens to be his headstrong cousin (Robert Walker Jr.).

Overall, this is a very tense and exciting episode. My only gripe, and it's minor, is that the coincidence that Erskine was friends with the agent who is the bomber's cousin AND just happens to come over for dinner when the bomber arrives AND it happens right after the bombing...well, that is rather farfetched. This did, however, make for an exciting and sad finale.

In addition to Rhys Williams (who was not actually blind in real life), his wife was played by Virginia Christine...who was famous for playing Mrs. Olsen in the Folger's Coffee commercials for many years. As for Walker, his father was the very famous 1940s actor who tragically died so young. Interestingly enough, his son is NOT billed with the Junior behind his name...just Robert Walker. Not sure why this was the case.

By the way, there's an old myth that disabled people develop super abilities to compensate. In this case, a blind man supposedly can hear stuff others don't. Well, my daughter is deaf and I think I see stuff even better than her!
