Due to the huge efforts put in by the fans, Netflix decided to give the series a 2 hour special, instead of canceling it with no ending.

The Sense8 fans are still working hard to get the entire story told; it was originally to be 5 seasons. "We won't give up until we hear from Lana herself that it is over"

Lana Wachowski is allegedly writing the entire season 3, due to the fan efforts.

Director Cameos - Lily and Lana Wachowski can be seen dancing together in the background at approximately 2:18:16.

The title translates to 'Love conquers all'.

During the vows at Nomi and Armanita's wedding, The shapes of Bodhi and The Mother appear in the background of Armanita's shot: hidden in the bokeh.

The umbrella Hoy (played by Sylvester McCoy) is holding at the wedding is reminiscent of the one McCoy used as the 7th Doctor in the TV series Doctor Who.

Thank you producers, directors, writers, cast members and of course thank you Netflix for giving us, the fans, this last episode of the series. It was not disappointing! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

If this was any other show, I'd be outraged. The plot has holes all along, and everything BPO-wise feels rushed, poor written and with deus ex machina everywhere.

But, then again, this isn't just any other show. And, to be fair, I don't care about BPO, its evil plan or whatever, and how the sensates fight it. I really didn't follow most of it, and missed many of the logistics behind stopping the bad guys. But I didn't rewind to understand, because I couldn't care less about the good guys-bad guys relationship. The only relationships I care about are the good guys-good guys ones.

The emotion, the love, the connection they all have are the core of the show. That's what I cared about. The emotional, not the rational. The last 25 minutes are amazing. They summed up what the series has been about: inclusion, acceptance and togetherness. And the creators' knew that. And they gave us what they knew we wanted, why we loved it. The 151 (151!) minute finale delivered.

Thank you for making bold shows that give visibility to minorities. Representation matters more than I can say. Thank you. Gracias. Danke. (IMDb won't allow me to use Hindi and Korean characters, but you see where I'm going with this).

Rushed? Yes Hard to follow? Yes But when you know the show was cancelled and this FINALE was thanks to the world-cluster. Then you dont care much about the storyline. You dont judge. You just WATCH. You just TRY to understand. You just LOVE. You just SMILE and then you realize that this is the END. I was Happy because this was truly made for the fans. They had to wrap-up things in a way they didnt want to. I even was hoping for a Sensetes World fight against BPO.. Like all clusters jumping in to be united and fight back... But I understand the position they were.. So I am THANKFUL to have lived this mind blowing revolutionary sci-fi show.

Spread love. Be Thankful. Dont be that judgemental over a cancelled show.

This episode will bring and delve you deeper in the minds of the sensates especially Wolfgang's, and helps you to somehow connects more with all of them. I like how they try to compact everything into a 2 hours duration and successfully satisfy my quench for the finale.

I love how they knew which part to cut but also didnt forget to hint that even though the part was cut, it is still important and mended it well with the key stories. Obsess on how they introduced and brought back the characters from before smoothly and still left us enough to wonder about the possibility of season3, but still able to bear in mind that this might be the finale and made I have some peace with this episode.

This story can be well expanded more and still connects the dot starting from this episode and I love that. I believe Lana and the rest of the crews are still not giving up and believe in the power of fans because I think they made this so well intricate to give us a hint that they are still so many questions left unanswered deserving a place of discovery and adventure for us fans.

Seriously, all of you have to watch it.

Overall, the last episode was really condensed. There were too many things happening all at once and I guess its understandable since there wont be a season 3 anymore. In the end, the focus of the story was simply the relationships they had as a cluster and there wasn't anything more important than the fact that they will go at any lengths to help each other. It wasn't the same as the previous episodes where it was more in depth and more provocative but as an average viewer it was fairly okay okay.

This was a perfect season 2 finale. All the characters interacting with each other, as always, all the story lines being wrapped-up, all the callbacks to even the first episode of season 1, it was amazing. There were a few times where it felt a bit rushed, but that was to be expected. For what they had, they really created a perfect episode. Amor Vincit Omnia. Love Conquers All. This show really proved it. As long as we are together, there is nothing we can't do. And I will be forever grateful for what this show taught me.

I'm serious. Of course, it's not just this episode. It's the whole show. If you haven't watched it: Start now, with season 1, epsisode 1, and do it all. This is a truly mind blowing experience that will elevate you!

Simply imagine watching The Matrix the first time, when it came out. Now multiply that by 1000, and you're not even close. Seriously. The Wachowskis and friends may have created the most amazing work of art in existence. Who would have thought that to be a TV show. Certainly I wouldn't. I hate TV shows. In general, I think it's a complete waste of way too much time. But not with sense8.

The only word of caution: Don't spoil the experience by skipping right to the last episode of season 2. Watch the whole show.

I don't want to spoil anything - but there are a few things I didn't like. The show starts a little "spooky" - that's only the tone in the first one or two episodes. Also, there are a few pretty intensely brutal scenes. If you are sensitive, you might want to skip those. However, they are an important part of the story and make sense from that perspective, so if you can handle it, you should.

I sincerely believe that this show can create a ripple in the collective consciousness of our human species - an elevating wave that is desperately needed. Watch it, feel it, let it inspire you. It is fiction ... but then ... good fiction is really just a good story around truth; just like life.

I just got home from the Sense8 Finale. For much of the film, my brain was judging it harshly. But the love could not be denied. My heart and eyes filled, and now I don't know what to do with myself.

Just watch it for the love, and forgive the rest. It really could've been a third season.

For giving the fans closure. And thank you Wachowski sisters. Would have loved to see another season of the show, but I am happy we got a proper ending non the less. Amazing story, amazing actors, amazing team, and an epic series!

Literally there are no words! My heart is full of emotion and my head is spinning!!! Beautifully brought the story together l, answered all our questions, and left me with a sense of family. I'm still hopeful this show can continue on some how... it's too important to end yet! Sensate for life!!!

What a beautiful finale. Seeing all the sensates together at the end made me tearful. This finale made an important point that feelings don't see reason and so the differences between us should be celebrated! I especially loved the threesome betwen Kala, Wolfie and Rajan. I want a season three..

The Sense8 Finale has done a good job of wrapping up everything after 2 seasons. There was some points in my opinion that it could have been better but it's hard to give it a perfect ending since last season ended up opening up many possibilities to come, and having the fact that it was a sudden cancellation for Netflix for such a highly anticipated and amazing show.

The title already said it all: "Love Conquers All". The finale is all about fighting for the people we love, fighting for love and the utopian happy ending that anybody should be able to have, as Lana already talked about. That is what special about Sense8, that it shouldn't be loss and grieve all the time, people can be free to decide their destinies. Moreover, there are also super hilarious scenes that made me could not keep myself from laughing out loud.

As great as it is, the finale however didn't meet some criteria I was looking for. Frankly, it was important to include all of the characters in a finale but not smart to gather them all in a place. All the sensates are deeply connected yes, but I feel that the supporting characters do not seem to fit into the group, so it turned out pretty clumsy how they did with the lines and conversations between the characters.

The 2,5 hours wrap up of Sense8 wasn't the best episode in the series but it offered such a fun, action-packed and emotional experience. I didn't feel up to the vibe at first but it got better and totally paid off at the climax and final hour of the series as they delivered ultimate truths, non-stop twists and heart-melting moments that would last forever. Keep spreading love everybody!

Things could have been different if only the makers had a chance to film one more season. 2h:30m is what they had and boy they make you emotional all the way.

Yes, it feels silly at few places. I felt rushed at few places.Everything falls in place for the cluster in this episode. But the flavour is all there. You will relate to each and every character in the plot.

Maybe that's the only way it could have ended, or maybe not. All I can say is "Amor Vincit Omnia", "Love Conquers All" in English. At the end of it you feel loved. I could have easily kissed my girl right after finishing it but she is out of town.

I struggled to stay positive about this series because I really liked the idea, but it's hard to believe this is from at least one of the people who gave us The Matrix and Bound. The series started out with a driven pot but as it went along it seemed to become more and more about some long winded preachy message. The season finale could have been done in around twenty minutes but they needed to pause every ten or so to show people stuffing their faces (some food fetish thing I guess) and beating the "I'm okay you're okay" thing to death which kind of subtracts from the lethal group trying to kill them. But the time I was done watching I felt like I had been waterboarded by pacifists inside a sensory deprivation tank. Sad way to execute such a great idea. There is another big dull orgy at the end for fans of that though.

I can't ask for a better ending than this but, this ending feel like it should take place after two or three seasons and, i know Netflix cancelled it and this was for fans to have a conclusion for the journey and, i thank then for it.

The action scenes were goods, however the story was very limited and dragged out to much. The last 20 minutes is about a wedding and was painfully slow. The last scene summed up the episode as It was f up

...you had to go and drop the ball(s), literally.

My wife and I waited over a year for this finale, and we were sorely disappointed with the wrap up. The beginning of the episode took some time to get re-versed in what happened previously, so there was about 20-30 minutes of asking ourselves wtf was going on. When we finally remembered everything, the show proceeded nicely. But then...

The Chairman coming in for just this episode made no sense (pun intended) and his sudden death made even less sense. It's like there was supposed to be this big grandiose character who meant something to someone, but in reality, he was a pointless waste of time.

The connections between the characters and their loved ones does require thinking, and the execution of that aspect of this episode wasn't bad, but the ending was way off base and completely pointless. I'm neither homophobic or transphobic, so the gay wedding in Paris seemed appropriate for those characters...but then you end it with everybody having one big massive pansexual orgy...and focus on a wet used dildo as the final shot? Seriously...what the ever-loving frak?!

If I could give this no stars, I would, because this final show was a disaster. And now looking back at the entire series, I realize that Lilly and Lana have become nothing more than porn directors trying to recapture their fame when they were Andy and Larry and actually made good movies. So sad, too... I used to like them...

I have never seen an end to a series and been satisfied. It has been a beautiful show about inclusiveness shot literally across the world and the beauty that is the world in which we live. This rushed finale is not without its flaws but it was made for us, it attempted to give us so much about what we loved about the show and why we loved the show.

You can forgive all holes and getting lost in it all because you hope in the amazement of it all, and in its teaching somehow somewhere we get another season.

With the time restraints, with all that this show is and has become they couldn't have done a better job! So bitter sweet I say thank you for the experience.

A fitting end to an emotionally captivating show, shame on those that wouldn't renew for a full third season.

This was absolutely the best ending to this amazing show! Everything was awesome, I just wished they had the group sing to What's Up? By 4 Non Blondes one last time as it was the first moment they all connected and accepted they were together, and it would've been beautiful to see it end on the same note with that song.

I still really enjoyed the series as a whole. However it does have some big problems. So the whole time we were wondering what the whole conspiracy was. Why is there a war between the sense8 factions. And it ends up being about one person trying to become immortal? It didn't quite fit and felt very rushed. And that this same guy killed all his other sense8s..BUT WHY? I dont think it was ever explained. ....

The biggest flaw of this last "episode" was that the rules of the universe changed....WTF Where as before a sense8 could both focus on their real life tasks and at the same time be in someone elses head fighting some baddies...Now whenever that happens the person just stops frozen in place. How could they let this happen. Whats worse is that this does not happen while driving or while their attention might actually get them killed...no. It only happens when they are walking and not holding anything dangerous....WTF again ... The last 30 minutes is a boring wedding and more boring orgy sex

We are all not drones wanting to watch X Factor or whatever. We are fans wanting to live in the wild of our imagination and what ifs. Netflix keep it going and makes me want to keep paying your fees.
