Xavier Baeyens directs the un-even segments 1,3,5 and 7, whilst Benjamin Rider directs the even numbered segments 2,4,6 and 8. This is Rider's second anthology feature film.
Though there are many excerpts and scenes from this film available online, the entire feature film has never been released officially.
Six actors appear in the film twice, sometimes reprising a previous role, or simply playing a different character. The six double performing actors are considered the leads of the film, collating the most lines. They are: Annabelle Lanyon, Ethan Taylor, Leo Ulph, Charlie Collins, and Javier Cáberiz.
Though there is no reference made to their connection in the film itself, there is a hint in the script for Chapter One that Holms orders a woman from a man called K (hence Anna Kristina Read's character being named 'K's Woman' in the credits). K later appears as the villain of Chapter Six.
The additional narrator featured in the second-to-last segment are voiced by Javier Cáberiz.
In Benjamin Rider's previous anthology film, Seven Devils (2015), a male sex worker is made to wear something to cover his eyes. In this film, Albert (Liam Joseph) is made to do the same. Both film's were written by Rider, and both characters are somewhat similar in terms of their narrative arcs.
The scene in which the 'Red head woman', played by Rosie Steel, loses her finger, is the same place in which Emily is filmed for the snuff film, played by Lily Smith. This ties the first and last chapters of the film together.
