Budget limitations led to the filmmakers having to rip pages out of the script left and right on set.
Due to a short window of availability with the Director and Actors, the film was written in four days and shot in fifteen ten hour days.
The film originally had several more flashbacks that showed the characters out of their superhero outfits, but the writer/director felt they took you out of the world too much. The idea was to make the audience feel like a fish out of water, just like the heroes.
The costumes for the movie were all built from the ground up and were constructed in under two weeks because the Costume Designer, Sarah Trost, had to leave to be a contestant on Project Runway.
Originally Charge was supposed to have woken up in a grocery store, but the filmmakers lost the location last minute and decided to shoot on the streets instead.
All of Rickshaw's scenes were shot in one location for a total of five hours.
A sequel has been hinted at by the Writer/Director that would pick up five years later, have a vastly different tone and have a shift in perspective.
The original title for the film was simply "VS".
Charge and Cutthroat's costumes were modified wetsuits to form fit the actors.
The film premiered at Toronto After Dark in 2011.
