TR, a young and adventurous 'trouble shooter' making his way through the Western Territories, crosses paths with a gang of oddball thugs tossing weirdness into his already complicated plans. TR finds himself in the middle of a plot by a ruthless arms manufacturer (The Commodore) to double cross the world superpowers - France and Spain. The Commodore insists on keeping his plan a secret - with deadly force. TR realizes he must escape the clutches of the Commodore but now with a member of British Royalty (Lady Victoria) and the creator of the high technology Victorian super-weapons (The Professor) in tow. Together they must evade a gauntlet of steam weapons, robots and rogue airships before finding a way to warn the outside world of the Commodore's evil plot. Engines of Destiny spins a tale of action, comedy and imagination in a world that never quite happened.
