Eric drags Sophie to Norfolk mental asylum, where he proves their mother is a live, crazy, cat-eating vampire who hates their real father, Valmont, for abandoning them. Sebastian reveals to Sophie at Valmont's tomb he always watched over her but is stabbed by Eric, who is furious to find the grave empty. The siblings get semi-accidentally stabbed in he ensuing brawl. Gabriels admits he always wanted Sophie to help smite Eric's side, but she rather takes off after liberating Penny from the asylum, staging at fatal fire. The professor found Sebastian and nurses him back to health. Leonardo reports on his knees to his grim Lord, Valmont's brother, who awaits a total power fight against his 'rival' pure-blood cousins.
