A couple descends through a forest in the surroundings of Valparaiso. Suddenly, old ghosts begin to appear between them: the trees and the water begin to sing provoking the emergence of a dreadful element.

The title character "Alexa" is named after the chilean footballer Alexis Sánchez as an homage to his penalty kick in the final of 2015 Copa América that gave the championship to his country.
The film was shot in laguna La Luz, Curauma, Chile. This is where the national rowing team trains.
