The boys arrived in Cannes and it seems like a dream come true. Drama has some trouble with his room, because he has none. When Drama meets a female fan of his show "Vinking Quest", he has to stretch time until he gets a room and they can go there. When he finally gets a room it is one that does not live up to his expectations. Yair offers the boys money if they want to sell it, but they refuse. Eric is worried about this, because he and Vince put their own money in it and it is not clear if they will ever get it back. Ari tries to convince Nick Rubinstein, who had to stay at home, that they will get a better offer, but Nick is also worried. Ari also ties to hype this movie by calling Lloyd on his vacation and telling him that he wants him to tell everyone about "Medellin". At the "Medellin" press conference, Ari meets Dana and tells her that he is about to sell "Medellin"

I know I'm repeating myself but, I am fairly disappointed with the conclusion of this season.

I think this season has definitely been the weakest of the show so far. Having said that, I still find it hysterically funny, engaging and it still remains my favorite show on TV at the moment.

This episode kind of sums up this whole season, just when you think it's going somewhere great, it just kind of shrugs it all off and ends up somewhere familiar.

And when it does go somewhere new, you feel like you don't want to go there, the romance that develops between Drama and the French beauty Jacquline is fun to start but manifests itself to a point that you might start getting annoyed and wondering what ever happened to the Drama that would mock E for not having "the sport-f***ing gene".

The bidding for Meddiln between Yair Marx and everyone else was great and the actual screening and aftermath of movie was just as good. But it ends on the kind of mediocre note that doesn't leave you feeling particularly psyched about the next season.

Despite all this, I'm still looking forward to the next season, but it really could signed off on a stronger note.

I have to admit I'm a little disappointed where this show seems to be going... it's starting to get a bit convoluted I liked the earlier stuff when it was a lot lighter and fun. This episode still had a few of good moments, but I feel the writers either didn't put the effort or ran out of time before the end of the season. Either way they did fill the finale with a few characters I really liked from former episodes. Harvey at his angriest and Nicky at his nuttiest but I hope I've seen the last of Billy Walsh, I know he's the guy we're supposed to hate but I just find his character annoying. Harvey Weinstein is a way better conflict point and should be focused on more. Johnny "drama" carried this episode with his clothes,(stylin') his outburst at the hotel and and his long search for his french love interest, I would love to see that continued next season. As for "medellin" not much of a surprise, of course it sucked, I'm sure we all new this would happen, but the writers redeemed themselves by letting us think all was good for 75 mil. and then pulling the rug out from under us, and having Harvey drop in for 1$ was a touch of genius. Also I'm happy to see things with Dana Gordon didn't work out I hate the idea of Ari kissing her ass, although they still have "silo" to deal with...looking forward to next season. Also can't wait for "curb your enthusiasm"s season premiere Sept. 9 This is the show to watch for all of you who have worn out you "seinfeld" DVDs, this is the next best thing.
