Even though Team F.I.S.T. member Icarus (Ronald Grams) was traditionally a hated rudo (heel/bad guy), the crowd chanted "Thank you FIST!" after they (Icarus, Gran Akuma (Edward Jones) and Chuck Taylor (Dustin Howard)) defeated The Future Is Now (Jimmy Equinox Olsen (Jimmy Olsen), Lince Dorado (Jose Cordero) and Helios (Trevor Mann)) because of how Dorado was hated even more, despite being a tecnico (face/good guy). Dorado was seen as very overrated by the CHIKARA fans at the time.
The Tag Team Gauntlet match is the one and only time that Mitch Ryder and Pinkie Sanchez (Adam Ortega) ever teamed.
Because the Order of the Neo-Solar Temple (UltraMantis Black and Crossbones) had been feuding with the Sea Donsters (Tim Donst and Hydra (Andrew Dinsmore)), who had previously been members of the Order, the Order ran in and attacked them in the Tag Team Gauntlet without waiting for their entrance music.
Although Incoherence (Delirious (William Hunter Johnston), Hallowicked (Robert Goodwin) and Frightmare (Stephen Delicato)) had used White Zombie's "Ratfinks, Suicide Tanks and Cannibal Girls" as entrance music on Night I, for the Tag Team Gauntlet Hallowicked and Frightmare used Laibach's "God Is God," the theme of Hallowicked's heel faction the Night Shift when CHIKARA started in 2002.
The tournament final between Team F.I.S.T. (Icarus/Gran Akuma/Chuck Taylor) and Team Uppercut (Claudio Castagnoli/Bryan Danielson/Dave Taylor), which Team F.I.S.T. won, was Dave Taylor's last-ever appearance in CHIKARA.
The move Frightmare hits during the Tag Team Gauntlet that commentator Louden Noxious (Jack Dourakos) calls a "Shooting Star Double Knees" would come to be known as Kneecolepsy.
Leonard F. Chikarason (Joseph R. Sposto) calls the bearhug/seated senton combination used by the Sea Donsters on UltraMantis Black "La Bombe de Sea Donsters" because of how the Rougeau Brothers (Jacques Rougeau and Raymond Rougeau) would do that same move in WWE in the 1980s, where it was called "La Bombe de Rougeau."
"Reference-to-H.P. Lovecraft" is listed as a keyword because, during the segment between the Order of the Neo-Solar Temple (UltraMantis Black and Crossbones) and Animal House (Beef Wellington and Steve "The Turtle" Weiner) in the Tag Team Gauntlet, commentator Leonard F. Chikarason makes a joke about Mantis and Crossbones channeling "their amateur days at Cthulhu State."
Michael Nakazawa is announced as the "well-oiled machine" because his gimmick involved constantly spraying baby oil all over himself, making it nearly impossible to get any kind of grip on him.
This three-night tournament marked the only ever CHIKARA appearances for Austin Aries. It also marked the final CHIKARA appearances for Kudo, Beef Wellington, Mitch Ryder and Kota Ibushi.
