Composed of sounds and images captured through a mobile phone, a laptop computer, and online public domain archives, this experimental film explores how the events leading up to, during, and following a foreign visitor's journey to the remote Japanese island of Aoshima illustrate the ways in which an advanced internet environment has allowed for instantaneous access to an unlimited wealth of resources while, in the process, it has also rendered obsolete an individual's need (and therefore ability) to concentrate, experience, learn, and remember.
