The story of Tony and Paula, two college buddies who lose touch when they enter the "professional" world. After years of hard work and little progress, Tony decides to strike out on his own and start a business, and Paula comes along for the ride. But it soon becomes clear that not only is Paula the brains of the operation - she is also falling for Tony, a big problem considering her pending marriage to another man. As they pitch investor after investor, Tony shows his incompetence and Paula shows her feelings and they begin to ponder the possibilities of what could be - success for him and love for her.

Actress Michele Wright was cast in the role of "Paula Ruch" after director Thomas J. Chavez first saw her in a community theater production. After weeks of calling the theater looking for information on her, Chavez had given up when Wright finally contacted him. He cast her after the first reading.
Though director Thomas Chavez and many other crew members (Cristian Olariu, Thomas Trela, James Vincent, Aaron Delgrosso) attended Colorado Film School during the same period, the first time they ever met was for this film. The only person Chavez had met previously through the school was producer William Rowley.
