Goldilocks and the Three Bears was one of many stories I read and loved as a child, and alongside Hansel and Gretel, this was one of my first cartoons from Burbank. And I still like it very much now, though Benny's voice did annoy me and the character designs at times seemed rough especially with Goldilocks. However I did like the mostly fluid and colourful backgrounds, and the music is both whimsical and memorable. The dialogue is sweet and easy to follow, the story has the basic essence of the story yet interestingly brings in scenes before and after the story we all know. The three bears are well done(Bartholemew the Baby bear is so cute), Bongo is an amusing character, the RingMaster is also a nice antagonistic addition and Goldilocks while occasionally on the too-cutesy side is a likable titular character. The voice work is solid, if slightly overdone with the Ringmaster. All in all, very good, another Burbank childhood favourite that holds up well. 8/10 Bethany Cox
