In real life, actor Rano Karno who played the title character of si Doel, has been appointed as the Governor of Banten,Indonesia in 2014.

A direct sequel from TV series Si Doel Anak Sekolahan (1993-2006). This movie took place 15 years after the original series ended

I watch this movie simply because the original series are my favourite. Apparently, I have put my expectations too high for this one.

The story has too many loopholes. The actors and actresses have passed their prime performances. Mandra is more irritating than looking funny. The jokes are no longer funny. Doel himself is dumber than ever. Simply look stupid as a mature man.

In a nutshell, the entertaining factors from this movie have disappeared. Watch it just for the sake of being nostalgic. That's all.
