At the beginning of this episode, the mayor is in the middle of a press conference and has a person that is signing to the hearing impaired. But it is very clear that the person signing knows nothing about the job. He is making the Mayor look terrible and plus offending all the hearing impaired people.

Now the director for the New York hearing impaired, Sarah Edelman, is coming to talk with the Mayor and his staff about the inappropriate actions during the press conference. But it is not going to be as easy as a simple apology. Mike is going to learn how it feel to be left out of a conversation and the feelings that come with being on the outside.

This episode did give us a picture into what the deaf and impaired people deal with on a daily basis. And I can assume, from the high ranking given to the program, that most people agreed that this brought the situation to light. But with that said, the episode really did not feature many laughs that is expected from a situation comedy sitcom. It was a very eye-opening episode but not the best in the lot. High marks for the content but just average on comedy. But still a good watch.
