The first of four two-reelers teaming Hugh Herbert and Dudley Dickerson together with a "scare" theme. The others being Nervous Shakedown (1947). Tall, Dark, and Gruesome (1948), and One Shivery Night (1950). According to many trade reviews, these four shorts were more well-received than all of Herbert's Columbia output, put together.
