The script contained more lines for the barman in Johnny's pub, as well as giving him two assistants with minor roles. The actors dropped out right before filming began, so most of the lines were given to Johnny instead.
Fergal was written to be Irish. Bobby Calloway struggled to do an Irish accent, but felt his natural voice didn't suit the character. He had been getting advice on doing a Liverpool accent from his friend Luke Anthony Jr - and gave Fergal a Liverpool accent to test it out.
Tom's angry scream to the tape being pulled off his mouth was Jack O'Byrne's genuine reaction.
Crew members jokingly nicknamed the boom pole 'Hector' and the microphone 'Hester' on set.
Butch's murder was scripted to be a quick scene. Robert Madden suggested expanding it into a proper fight scene.
For the shot where Johnny throws a rolled up piece of paper at Fergal, Thomas Leggett kept missing Bobby Calloway's head and sending the crew into hysterical giggles.
Tom Prior had to go home on the bus covered in fake blood after shooting his scene.
In the opening 'raisins' scene, Liam was supposed to say "he must not like you" after Fergal says "I wasn't invited". Shane Martin forgot his line, so Bobby Calloway said it instead.
Despite Jack O'Byrne and Vanessa Schaefer playing siblings, they noted they didn't look alike and joked that Amber takes after her mother.
When Liam and Fergal chat in the car, the director Zac Goold walks past the window; an unscripted cameo.
The script didn't specify how Amber should react to the murders at the end. Vanessa Schaefer improvised her screaming after Fergal is shot.
