As the season seems to be spiraling out of control, he gets more bad news, his mother who had beaten cancer before finds out it has returned. Just as his life seems to be unraveling, the team, coach, and mom witness a miracle season. Mike Walter told the story as a Broadcast journalist in Washington DC after the 2004-2005 season.
