Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (season 1) (1993) is the best season to watch and I love it.

"Green with Evil, Part IV: Eclipsing Megazord" is a 20th episode of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers it is a five part episodes titled Green with Evil introducing the new Green Ranger Tommy Oliver (Jason David Frank) and new villain Scorpina (Wendee Lee).

Plot: Watching Goldar demolish the city via the viewing globe, the Rangers have no choice but to morph and activate Megazord--all part of Rita's plan. A spell eclipses the sun and cuts off Megazord's solar power reserves. Using her magic wand, Rita grows Scorpina and, soon after, the Green Ranger. The Megazord soon falls to the trio of evil. The Zords separate and scatter into a burning chasm opened by Repulsa. With their fighting spirit diminished, the Rangers return to the Command Center, where the true identity of the Green Ranger is soon revealed.

I love this episode to death I think it is the best one of the first season. Here is why Green Ranger as the villain is awesome, we have three villains against Megazord: Goldar, Green Ranger and Scorpina after Goldar is destroying the city's Rangers fight all three of them. To me the Power Rangers are the real heroes. Bulk and Skull who flied with the bus, becomes a hostages which Goldar as big grow Goldar grabs them and then Squatt, Baboo and Putty Patrollers try's to push the bus over the cliff killing Bulk and Skull, Power Rangers just in time transforms their dinozords in to Megazord in which they catch a falling bus and saves hostages Bulk and Skull, that is super, cool and awesome!

I love that Red Ranger (Jason) screams on Goldar no, they are civilians showing me as a true super hero he is, Power Rangers a real heroes they are. It reminds me on Superman II (Theatrical Cut) in which Non and Ursa grab the bus with civilians and throw it in to Superman I love that scene. This episode is a classic to me I loved it so much.

Rita stands and watch the battle in which Scorpina controls power of the soon and we see eclipse and Megazord looses his power while dinozords are destroyed. On the end of the episode rangers found out true identity of Green Ranger.

Great acting from all actors and the bus scene is my favorite in this episode. "Green with Evil, Part V: Breaking the Spell the next episode is the conclusion and full circle of the Green Ranger story. Scorpina has also deadly dagger who throws it on rangers.

10/10 this is my childhood episode I watched it as a kid and it defines my childhood: Batman, Superman and Power Rangers were my childhood heroes and I still love them. Superman I, II - (Richard Lester theatrical version), III, Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever and of course Power Rangers are my childhood TV Show movies and of course Batman and Superman animated series they are all my favorite today.

The first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is an American television series created by Haim Saban and Shuki Levy, which began transmissions on August 28, 1993, on the Fox Kids Network.

Warning do not read unless seen episode.

At this point things have just gone from bad to worse. I'll admit I was really concerned about how things were going, it was one of those rare things you see but like with the Rebels in "Empire Strikes Back" it's not something we want to admit but it doesn't make it less of a reality where for once the good guys actually lose.

Part four not just stands out because it introduced Scorpina but it has one of the best zord battles in my book. Though I'll admit it's a bit of an inconsistency as the Megazord has sometimes operated in the evening and yet it has to rely on solar power? Let alone wouldn't they be equipped with auxiliary and emergency power in an event like this? But other than that it was a really cool battle as we saw the Megazord not just fight one but two super sized foes at the same time both Goldar and Scorpina whom in her monster form lets just say is the last person you'd want to ask on a date.

We just see the Rangers just struggling as they are just exchanging blows left and right against the two, while under the ticking clock of the sun going out from an eclipse. And for a while in the battle it looks like the Rangers are turning the tables.

But suddenly there is a third player in the game which is the Green Ranger super sized. Just seeing him again let alone super sized I knew the Rangers were in deep crap now; so it's now three against one. And of course the Rangers are giving it there all but it's just not enough all three of them pulverize them.

It then comes down to a heart sinking moment when we see the Rangers ejected from the Megazord and then we all witness each of the Zords being destroyed and worst of all hope itself; at that point I just wasn't sure of anything and in the words of Hudson "Game over man, game over." We then see their are just demoralized, each of them are just at the lowest point of their lives. Except for Jason whom still is holding on to hope, I really like that speech he gives about the importance of fighting on. But unfortunately it just doesn't work, just like the zords their all broken. And in the end they all get a rude awakening to the identity of the Green Ranger.
