Jimmy, the safe blower, starts out to rob a safe in which some jewels have been placed. As he is about to make a getaway Gerald, the Gentleman Crook, enters and forces him to disgorge. Gerald is on his way out when Vivian, the beautiful Light-Fingered Lady, makes her appearance and takes the spoils from Gerald. As Vivian is making her departure, the owner of the jewels comes on the scene of action and calls a policeman. The policeman, however, proves the greatest crook of all. As he is about to make a cleanup, he is caught by a real guardian of the peace. Each crook accuses the other, with the result that all are sent to jail.
