This film is excellently crafted and provides an extensive and unparalleled insight into the life of Clifford Brown. I would recommend this to anyone, especially those within the jazz community.

It features a collage of interviews, both video and audio, with all of the major Jazz giants that played with Brown throughout his life. We also get to experience it all through the memories of his peers and family members, which definitely illustrates the spark of magic Brown possessed that captured all who hear/saw him. The film features a soundtrack of Brown's most notable moments, live recordings and studio, while also digging into the archives and sharing some clips that may have never been released.

This film brings a much deeper connection and appreciation for all that Clifford Brown brought to the world and his story is surely inspiring. He was a great loss. May he live on through the music we create following his in magnificent footsteps.
