Australian Story looks at a medical mystery, as two Australian women, Mary Rezo and Shani Eldridge, battle to come to terms with a rare and debilitating lung disease that strikes down women of child-bearing age. One is a Melbourne woman with two young sons. The other a young Sydney woman, was newly married and at the start of her professional career. For both their frightening prognosis came out of the blue as they suffered what they believed to be symptoms of asthma.
