I highly appreciated this powerful story already told in the plot line above, story carried by effective performances, especially Harold J Stone, perfect for this kind of characters. He plays here the despotic theatre owner who is so weak with his daughter, a ruthless man facing his only weakness. He was a wonderful actor, his talking with her is actually poignant, gripping. I don't now any of the other actors. This episode is not really a crime scheme, but a very good drama. I think it would have better shown in many other series, instead of this one. But after all, why not? I will continue to comment those épisodes from ROARING 20's, you can count on me. I guess this series can give us many good surprises.
